Coaching

What is Coaching?

Everyone is familiar with teaching and training, but not everyone is clear on what “coaching” is. Let me put it simply: Coaching is the process of helping a person, team, or organization move from where they are to where they want to be.

It is not counseling, which deals mainly with the past. Coaching is FUTURE-oriented; where you prayerfully decide where you want to make improvements in your life, ministry, or business and then plan and take action to get there.

In his book, Next Generation Leader Andy Stanley writes, “You may be good. You may even be better than everyone else. But without a coach, you will never be as good as you could be.” More and more Christians, especially leaders, are getting personal and team coaching. Andy Stanley, Rick Warren, Ken Blanchard, John Maxwell, and many others have taken advantage of personal coaching.

Why is Coaching So Effective?

Simply stated, because good coaching has a great track record of producing great growth and improvement.

Most of Us Have Trouble Implementing What We Hear

Sometimes we are able to hear a teaching, read a book, attend a seminar, or go through a program and actually take steps to implement what we have heard. Most of the time though unless someone is directly working with us to implement new insights, we don’t follow through. The research is pretty overwhelming on that fact. When learning is combined with personal coaching, implementation increases by approximately 70%. That is huge!

Do You Want to Be the Best You Can Be?

The Bible teaches we need each other to function at our highest level. The research is clear: people who succeed in life ALWAYS have strong personal support. No one can be their best, by themselves.

If you are tired of spinning your wheels, if you want to step more fully into the abundant life Jesus promised or you want to see more progress in fulfilling your God-given purposes some form of coaching may be just what you’re looking for.

Coaching Options

As of today, June 2021, we offer one-on-one coaching, but within a few weeks we will also be offering two different types of group coaching

One-on-One Coaching:

Sign up here for a FREE Purpose Growth Discovery Call.

During this call we will:

  • Discuss what area of your purposes you want to improve

  • Discuss options for growth

  • Help you with your next steps

  • See if we are a good fit to work together

It’s FREE: No high-pressured sales conversation (I hate that)

Soon to Come — Group Coaching

Option 1: Q & A Coaching Group: This will be combined with the course material (*see courses) you have chosen to work through. Watch the video (or listen to the audio), once every two weeks through a zoom call, ask any questions you have on this or related topics.

Option 2: Small Group Coaching: For those wanting to join with a small group of like-minded people and an experienced coach for deeper growth and transformation in your purpose journey. Meet every 2 weeks on-line with a small group for learning, support, encouragement, positive accountability and rotating personalized coaching in the group.

Many people have discovered coaching to be the missing piece in their growth and purpose journey. I’ve always been a goal-oriented person, but receiving coaching helps me achieve even more of the goals God has set before me.
